My 2000 gmc V6 4.3 has been intermittently backfiring losing power.

The truck is a standard and is most likely to lose power taking off

and changing gears. No service engine soon light on. Fuel pump is at

58lbs. The fuel filter has just been changed. Please send ideas!

distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, wire, engine timing, busted cam lifter/s....

It turned out to be the fuel pump :banghead:
