4 wheel drive not working on my 97

I found the actuator and when I squeeze it I can force it into 4 wheel drive. I was told that the vacum switch might be stuck, but I can't find where it is??? Any thoughts???

don't try squeezing the actuator try sucking on it.
If it still moves the vacuum switch is located somewhere on the transfer case.
If it'll cost you a lot to fix you can get a cable eliminator kit for about 135.US
