Chrysler T & C electric window not workingBROBERTSON1995 03-13-2005, 10:14 AM I have a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country and the drivers side electric window is not working. When I push the button to roll it down you can hear a clicking sound coming from the button controller. I measured the voltage on the connector going into the window motor. When I push the button to roll it up, I am getting 12 volts. When I push the button to roll it down I get 1.2 volts for just a second and it goes aways the same time you hear the clicking noise. Any ideas? lownloud 03-13-2005, 10:36 PM well just a shot in the dark but maybe it is the motor on the power window regulator, bad motor itself or a stripped gear in it? A. Any ideas? :2cents: The clicking sound could also be the window circuit breaker or relay. If the window or it's regulator binds it will kick the C/B, and then reset when it cools. Something is pulling too much amperage. mr_peretz 03-19-2005, 01:12 PM I have the same problem with my T&C '01 passenger window. You can pull it up using the pass. side switch, but it won't go down. The switch on the left side door doesn't do anything at all. I brought it to the shop and the guy cheked everything and said the the switches are bad. I bought new pass side switch but problem is still there. Damn, this thing is driving me crazy! mr_peretz 03-19-2005, 02:31 PM Also, can it be that due to bad left side switch the right side is not working correctly? A. Souphound 03-21-2005, 09:07 AM Yes, if the Master control switch is defective, it can cause problems with any of the windows. The Master control switch (11 pin) can be tested by continuity checks. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
