Yes, finally i get a satisfactory run..... I don't even know if i should call this a kill, cause you really never know if the other driver "gave it hell" to try and beat you, so i'm just calling this....a fun ride home... :evillol:

8:30pm i get off work, hop on the 135...then to the southern state.... I'm just cruising.. Traffic is minimal (surprisingly) for a sat night, and then these pair of lights behind me is coming up fast... I'm in the middle lane, and this dude, for whatever reason goes from the left lane to the right, then cuts me off REALLY close...him getting back in the left lane...speeding off.. I catch up with him cause honestly i was PISSED that he came so close to me front bumper...and i wanted payback. :banghead:

I'm now coming up to him on his right, i cut in front of him...HE's pissed..lol... He changes lanes...gets beside me...then i nail it, going from 65-100. He couldn't even catch up... I slow down, now he's riding my ass... He brights me..then i take off, he's on me until like 80..then disappears.. A good 5 car legnth's. :cwm27: .

This looked to be an early 90's 240sx, no visual mods except rims....YO YO I GOT RIMS...lol.. I was surprised i had him beat so much cause my car is heavy, and those 240's are light..? Then again, weight doesn't matter at speeds past like 50-60..? Ain't that true..? That would probably explain why alot of cars at take off beat me, but if the race is on a roll, say 35-40, i get a good car ways ahead of some..."some"...lol.. :iceslolan

What kinda Thunderbird do you have. If you have the 4.6/5.0 version or even the supercharged 6 than thats about correct. 240's are faster off the line than the t-bird by I'm thinkin half a second maybe 3/4 of a second. However in the quarter the T-bird is mid - high 15's where as the 240 is low 16. So that could be why you put a hurtin on him from the higher speed.

Yea, 240s have crap for top end. Our cams are designed to where power falls off right after 5600. And just lack of HP makes the car fall on its face at 60mph. Good run.

Hey guys, yeah my tbird is a 95 4.6, stock hp is 205 with 265ft lbs...but in the real world (rwhp/rwtorque) is not even 140hp/230ft lbs. Only mods are removed air silencer (a tad more responsive at like 50/60mph) and well....chopped mufflers, hey, i like the look of them.. Plus it sounds more like a V8. BTW, the engine's well kept to, so maybe she still has some go in her :-)
