I have a 1996 Chrysler Town and Country LXI Minivan. The instrument panel (Digital Odometer and the Digital gear display) started flashing very rapidly. It continued until I reached my destination. Ater restarting the car, they returned to normal. Does anyone have any idea why it did this or if its an indication of a more serious problem. On a side note, I have also had trouble with the turning signals intermittently not working for no apparent reason at all sometimes for an hour at a time and sometimes for a few days at a time. Then all of a sudden they will start working. I have also had trouble with the windshield wipers starting on their own and not responding to the switch that tells them to start or stop. This is also an intermitten problem and none of these things happen at the same time so i dont think these problems are related?? Any ideas anyone?

This really sounds like you might have a bad ground somewhere . The first thing to do would be to check the battery connections and get all the corrosion off the battery terminals and see if this helps .
