Well I was heading home from work and driving down the interstate. It was about 1:00 am so the road was prettry empty. I am cruising down I-95 at a comfortable 75 mph. When this god awful Piss Yellow Civic with Blue neon lights coming out from underneathe the car and the cabin area, pulls up next to me on the interstate. This car sounded like a blender on puree mode and the car had a wing that had to be atleast 3 foot of the back of his car and a dragon, yes dragon sticker all the way down the side of the vehicle. Ugly, Ugly, Ugly.

So he pulls up and I look over at him and I could not help but laugh right at him and shake my head in disbeleaf at his car. I guess he took it personal and punched his car and started racing me. I said ok time to have some fun. So I let him get ahead me then I watch him slow down a little, letting him think I was beat then I hammer the gas pedal and the exhaust starts to scream and I blow by him at about 100 mph.. He tries to catch up but to no avail I have him beat and he knows it. So I slow after hitting 110mph hit my flashers and he pulls up next to me again and guns it again... Ok enough is enough I say to myself so I do the same and catch him with little problem and then I start to pull on him pretty good and finally I leave him in my rear view mirror again. This time I hit about 125 before slowing down and hitting my flashers. The Civic I guess had enough and after being beaten pretty good twice decides to pull off the interstate and leave me to my drive home.

I still laugh when I think about that car. What a joke...

Why is it all these imports try and race me, same with a friend of mine who has a 95 cobra, imports always want to race and more times than not they lose and lose bad at least against my friends cobra...

i have trouble getting cars like that to race me

i usually scare them off as soon as they hear the blower. Its funny watching a ricer go through traffic trying to race cars, then he pulls up next to mean and i let the blower scream, lol they just go find someone else.

Absolutly not I really like imports, I just don't like import racers who have seen "The Fast and the Furious (2001)" way to many times. They should relize all of that shit they put on their cars does nothing for horsepower just adds weight and slows them down. I mean come on a wing 3 feet off the back of the car, How is that suppose to make you faster, or neon lights, just looks ridicules.

I have a few friends with really fast imports and their cars are mostly stock looking and run real good, a lot faster than my 93 stang. They just do not waste thier time and money on things that only slow them down.

Give you an example, I raced a guy the other day in a EVO that looked bone stock but spanked me good, now that car I respect, not a civic that is all riced out to look fast.

By the way I like your car a 3000GT... So no I don't hate imports...

I really do not have a problem with import racers. I mean a lot of these guys spend large amounts of time and money on their cars to make them fast. I mean any person that can take a 4 cylinder and have it push 300 HP and run the quarter in 12 or even 13 seconds... Is a better mechanic than I ever can hope to be. I give you guys my utmost respect :bigthumb:

Isn't any form of racing always a competition from the moment it begins? Regardless of whether or not you get slaughtered it is still competition. I don't see this issue being brough up with guys like Redneck, Dampachi, Igovert, or anybody of that sort with really fast if not quick cars. Those guys always seem to put buslengths on guys in their stories. But I don't see anyone going after them saying "Why did you post this?" regardless if they have 100 HP, 200 HP, or whatever amount less.

BOT: Yeah, losing to an EVO isn't exactly something I would care for. If I were going to race one, I would know going in that I was going to lose without a doubt. But the thing is, some people just like to gauge themselves, other's just love to see your car in action. I mean, if you came up on a Ferrari or Lamborghini, wouldn't you like to see what it was like to get blown away by one? Despite if you won or lost? I know I wouldn't hesitate to, but that's just me. and i saw your thread about your "stock" mustang running 14.1, that's sooo much faster than a mid 14 second sedan :loser: (which actually is stock). not to mention my 3.5 puts out more hp than your 5.0, but that's beside the point. all the talk about my "slow" car just makes you seem more like your typical mustang owner, when all else fails talk about how awesome your car is, or how slow mine is. :gay: .

How was the race 'unfair'? It's not 1993 GTs fault that that guy bought a civic and thought it was a race car. I raced this guys Fiero..and after I slaughtered him...he goes "BUT IT'S NOT FAIR, I ONLY HAVE A FEW MODS!". WTF? He challenged me...yet after I rape him..he whines how it's unfair. There's really no such thing as a 'fair race'. If it wasn't slightly to someone elses advantage..why would anyone think they could win? And ya' know..maybe 1993 GT doesn't get very many races. Good kill. I once saw this car that was clearly made to be a joke. The guy somehow custom fabbed the car to look like it had rocket boosters out the back, and an enormous wing, that i'm sure would break some laws. It wasn't painted well, and it looked glued together. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it.

However, I was in my buddies car (Whom at the time was driving his sister's Sentra SE-R), when a civic with 4 people in it smoked us badly. Not all civics are slow that look like rice.

alright let me try to say something about this here. BP2K2Max if you really have a problem with 1993_GT's thread then dont' post. i don't bother to post in any of the threads i dont' find interesting. theres other people who posted on here already so that obviously means someone cares enough about it to post.

civracer95 is absolutely right, this guy posted it as a joke and for simple entertainment. plus he doesn't post a civic or other weak econobox kills every day. ( then thats when he'll draw the line ) but he did post a thread about him running a low 14 and you still posted negetive comments on it.

anyway also i dont thin 1993_GT is biased at all, he may favor a particular camp more but still if he sees a fast import, he sees a fast import, and if he loses hes big enough of a man to admit it to us.

now 1993_GT i know BP2K2Max started it so you attacked him back. but a 2002 nissan Maxima 6 speed does run a high 14 stock, they also put down close to 220whp bone stock. compared to your large 4.9 ( true displacement ) his car puts down a good amount more hp then you, and is slightly quicker then your GT stock for stock. so you really have no right to call his car slow casue they are quit quick cars. trust me.

Well I sure never intended this to be a flame war thread, just wanted to post a humerous story and brag a little about my Stang. Sorry if I affended any Maxima owners here, was not my intention. Believe me when I tell you that I like all cars whether they be imports or domestics, I just favor the Stang at this time. I also can't help laughing at the site of a Piss Yellow, Neon Light, three foot wing Civic with a dragon going down both sides. That was just too funny...

So I agree this thread is done and let's move on to other constructive endeavers.

hey good kill 1993_GT and don't take too much stock into what certain people say. A ricer kill sounds like just about the best kill you can get anyway because by nailing a ricer you have successfully beaten one who is most likely an overzealous fool who believes that the muffler he strapped to the back of his car turned his car into something "fast".
