dash warning indicator lights

i got a 1992 plymout lazer and a warning light on my rpm tac turns on after ive been driving for a wile the indicator looks and this is going to sound stupid it looks like the lincoln memorial what does it mean

coolant light. check your coolant level. what does the temp guage do? it should stay near the middle once the car is warmed up
