They were, but still a good catch! The buzz on other forums is that it's a GT with a bunch of Cobra bits being testing on it. Apparently they cut a hole in the hood and put a scoop over it to fit the engine. Nice!

Thought you guys might like to see what the new GT500 looks like. Just revealed at the New York Auto Show.
