i just got off the phone with b&m, and the guy told me that it comes with a round silver (either chrome or polished alum. - not sure) shift knob and the throw is reduced by 40%. that means that if the original throw is 6 inches, it is reduced to 3.6 inches. just wanted to clarify...

Hmmm. I may be interested. Does anyone here have experience with the B&M in a P11?
