Hey, color manipulation isn't my strong suite as a graphic designer, but I had some fun with a stock shot. Maybe this will help some of you visualize your WRX with a new paint job!

That's cool. Nice work.

Can you get a side shot of that same car, and do it in that first green, and also a metallic gray with gold wheels?

I couldn't find a straight side shot of the bug-eye WRX, but I did find one that would probably work nicely. I got it from about halfway down this page (http://www.jscspeed.com/rides.htm).

Here's the original picture (note the Transformers decal on the hood... lol)

Here's the green version. I couldn't quite get it to match the first one as far as the metalic sheen goes, but hopefully this is what you're thinkin'!

I'll see what I can do with the gray / gold rims shot... I'm not sure if I can make the gold convincing, but maybe. Obviously those are not stock rims either.

It was easier to manipulate the color on the yellow WRX!

I like the purple one, actually... Not so much for a wagon, but for the bugeye sedan it looks pretty good.

It does look cool in purple actually.

I always wondered what a bug-eye sedan would look like in that metallic green in the first set, and it looks pretty cool. British Racing Green is one of my favorite colors, but it just doesn't look right on a lot of cars without some metallic hint to it.

NICE WORK LARSON!!

Is it just me....or do those colors look so 80's???
Especially the 2nd color and the purple...they look like 80's chick car colors to me.

This is really weird, I am getting a full paintjob next week! I am looking into doing a violet, blue pearl and gold pearl...special formula on my wrx...also I am getting the 2005 front clip put on. Can anyone photoshop a 2004 wrx sedan like what I described? Thanks!

Here's a gray with gold wheels:

And here's a darker gray with gold wheels:

I'm not really satisfied with the wheels, but for conceptual paint jobs, hopefully it does the trick!

As far as the first set looking all 80's and stuff.. I dunno, maybe. I just like the head-turning colors more than others is all.

Speedphreak, I'm having a hard time visualizing your violet / blue pearl / gold pearl paint job. Do you want a rainbow effect? If you can provide some pictures to work from, maybe I can take a shot at it...

GRAY?? Maybe it's my eyes or my monitor....
they look brown to me. It looks quite bad...

Hmm. I think if someone were to go with the gold wheels, a darker gray would work better. Maybe like a charcoal.

Actually, if anybody is in the Photoshopping mood, how about an RS/WRX sedan with a Saab 9-2X front clip on it?
