Most commen engine swap EVER is swapping out the d seriers block in the honda civ for a B series motor. Another more common one is the nissan engine swap the swap out that engine for the SR20 motor wich kix major ass... I have also heard of 3 series Bimmers swapping in M3 motors (friend of mine just did it in hit 88 3 series).

B16 most common one i've seen swapped.

idk about imports... but 302 or 351 swaps are so common in mustangs its insane.
