Working on a neighbors Durango and someone had installed the Mopar nerf bars before she bought it used. The right side bar brackets have rubbed a hole in the low pressure ac line allowing all freon to drain. Obviously the AC now doesn't work. Does anyone know of a good "quick" fix for this line. Could I use a flare tool and add a coupling. Looks like changing the entire line is a b!tch. Does anyone know what the O.D. and I.D. is for that line? ANy help is greatly appreciated. Just trying to save her some money, the dealer wanted $900 to fix. If I can repair, I plan to move the lines away from the bracket to prevent this in the future.

You're probably not licensed to work with freon anyway are you?
