Well, Reading through a few threads I thought we had solved the sliding door handle problem. The door wouldn't open from the inside at first, but would from the outside. Pulling the pannel, and tugging on the inside handle rods would allow the door to open. We got new handles. Then all of a sudden the door won't open at all. Pulling ANY rods makes no difference. Does anyone know how to pop the door open any other way? Pop the latch in any other way? Thanks!

sounds like when you pulled on those rods you may have pulled one loose or the rod filally came loose. follow the rods to where they are attatched to the door lock mechanizim. you will need to look at what the rod is supposed to do and make sure its doing that. they used to be held in place on the older models with clips that just snap in place. if any of the rods have fallen out of place the releace won.t release the latch. if you can get it open this way, make sure you reatach the rods and put the clips in place so the rods dont fall off again. if you need them new clips can be fould at most parts stores i know napa carries them.
