89 D150 Vacuum Hose Question

Need to know where fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose goes on 318 TBI(vacuum port)? was not connected when i bought it.

actually, there should be a daigram somewhere under the hood of the truck. unless the engine is not the original model, the wiring and hoses should be correct on the sheet. mine is on the underside of the hood, but i hear it's also been found elsewhere in the engine bay.

and if all else fails, try the manual if you have it

diagram under hood did not show regulator.I don't have manual.

Oh.. thought you were lookin for the loc. of the hose.. I dunno about the actualy regulator, sorry.

It dosn't mater what you have it hooked up to it you have to "t" off of another source of vacum as long as it is port vacum witch is what comes anywhere from below your carb. Just do that and then you can have some one shut off the engine and hear for vacum leaks witch someone proboly has done away with the old fiting and has it ran some where else

on the back of the TBI, next to the pressure regulator it a small tube that goes back into the TBI, not much vacum pressure to try to fool you into thinking that it goes someplace else. You'll need about 3 inches of hose. It goes from the pressure reg. to about an inch over, to the right looking at it from the front, and about a half an inche down
