I have an 88 Safari van. The fan motor has stopped running.
when I tried to check to see if it was the switch by jumping the connector in the dash, the fuel pump fuse blew. Sounds kinda fishy to me.....also the dash lights do not work. All of this happened at the same time.

I was trying to bypass the heater control switch. By jumping the hot wire to one of the fan wires.
