nicotine251 03-13-2005, 01:58 PM ugly car....... nitrous36 03-13-2005, 02:20 PM oh that thing is soooooooooo illegal its not even funny. I dont like the guy that owns it so Im going to keep the pics up. Funny thing is he's some ricer stunna or something, he was showing off his Z32 TT (the slowest TTZ I ever seen!) at one of the local meets. I guess he's too chicken sh*t to bring out the R33, even though its about as legal as cocaine (meh kinda a bad analogy). From what I see out here (not heard online) its not as hard as you think to get a JDM car out here, getting it (and even to your house) isnt as hard as you think, but making it 100% legal is the hardest part I hear. I personally seen a 180SX and a PS13 out here. I know for a fact the PS13 isnt legal dont know about the RPS13 though. Please dont ban me, Im just saying the things I see and know. What puzzles me is how they get them pass customs. Again my only analogy is knowing the right people. And yeah anyone can get a JDM car in easily but legalizing it is difficult. You can import a car (provided you get by customs) but you cant drive it. Technically by law you cant. So until the car is 25 years old it is dead weight on your shoulders. Because you cant do anything with it. Its pointless that people import cars illegally. What are they going to do, drive it in circles around the yard. Because that and the track is the only place you can drive it legally and the law cant touch you. nismo_power 03-13-2005, 02:42 PM What puzzles me is how they get them pass customs. We all know of the disassembled reasembled kit car thing and the swaping vin and they arent good ideas or full proof for that matter. nismo_power 03-14-2005, 12:31 AM you cant ship a car to a private port. when they ship from japan, they ship to the nearest port which is california. so importing to the us isnt the best idea. but like i said, this isnt the place to talk about that sort of stuff. nitrous36 03-14-2005, 01:12 AM I know. You cant but someone here has suggested doing that before. Which like everthing else we know wouldnt work. It would be something to find out that guy with the GTR gets caught later on. jcsaleen 03-14-2005, 02:39 PM You can get it shipped to any customs/us official occupied port. CBXweb 03-14-2005, 04:17 PM I know. You cant but someone here has suggested doing that before. Which like everthing else we know wouldnt work. It would be something to find out that guy with the GTR gets caught later on. I actually want that to happen, I really hate that guy, but the car is nice. :p driftmaster200 03-14-2005, 05:08 PM If I could afford and find a GTR, I would do anything to get it to pass inspection. nismo_power 03-14-2005, 05:26 PM If I could afford and find a GTR, I would do anything to get it to pass inspection. ARE YOU RETARDED? you get caught with the car, thats going to be a big no no for you. number one, the car gets crushed or taken away from you and sold. you might as well just make a bon fire of 20 dollar bills, it would be more satisfying. second, youd be looking at a $250,000 fine. but im sure thats just chump change right? and third...jail time. your pretty smart kid. i bet you dont know about that little thing called protecting your investment. nitrous36 03-15-2005, 10:30 AM I actually want that to happen, I really hate that guy, but the car is nice. :p It would be funny for him to get caught. But I wouldnt want him to get caught for the sake of the car. I would hate to see a perfectly good car crushed. jmrev 03-15-2005, 01:52 PM i would laugh my ass so hard if a ricer thinks he can drive on and acctually does and gets his ass caught, man that makes me want to crap on some kids civic hood. nisco 03-16-2005, 02:57 AM If I could afford and find a GTR, I would do anything to get it to pass inspection. im sure if you could afford a gtr, and imported one, you be able to afford the legalization of it too :sly: CBXweb 04-07-2005, 09:20 PM STOP HERE'S AN UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!! Well the shop called Auto Mod is starting to get into some legal trouble over some Z3 Fenders and a Si cable tranny :/..... and also, the owner let one of his ricer slaves drive the R33 and one of those fancy Blitz wheels FELL OFF!!!!!
