Hey guys,
I am having 4.56 gears installed in my tacoma. I sent the chunk off to a local shop to have my ring and pinion set up and i should have it back any day now. I was just wondering if there is specific quality gear oil available or if just any gear oil from a parts store will do. I was told to use an 80 -90w oil, gl-4 gl-5 but i am not familiar with any quality brand names. I would appreciate any recommendations for which gear oil to use.

Valvoline, Texaco, Castrol, Mobil and Exxon to name a few. Any name brand oil is ok.

I run Amsoil in everything in my Tacoma and it loves it.
