replaced cap rotor ign module pickup coil still wont fire put very small amount of gas down throttle body still no start so i dont think its a fuel pump

did you check for spark at the end of each plug wire?

Will it start with carb spray or ether? A "very small amount of gas" probably wouldn't start it, depending on how much a "very small amount of gas" is to you.

I just noticed this thread. Carb cleaner does burn. Aside from it stating all over the can that it is flammable, it is what I use to often get push mowers started that haven't been run for a while, especially ones that don't have a prime bulb. I use it due to usually have some around for other projects. It works quickly. Others have often stated using it to troubleshoot a no-start condition with their Blazer.

It does burn, but isn't even close to gasloine or starting fluid.

I can practically kill my engine spraying carb or TB cleaner through the butterfly.
