my civic 93 coupe came without floor mats. i tried to find original for my model but no luck from witch other civic model should fit. i know they have different shapes newer model but will they still fit in my car?

Floor mats fro any 92-95 civic will work fine...it doesn't matter if it's a hb, coupe, etc.

Also, if you are still out of luck, you can try Auto Custom Carpets. They can make you exact OEM fit floor mats for your 93 civic in almost any color (they have a HUGE color selection). You can also have the binding done in a different color if you want.

there are some nice looking type r civic floor mats on ebay for 18.00 + 18.00 dollars shipping...just search 92-95 civic jdm and ull find em.

I never liked those "type-r" style floor mats. I didn't like em 4 years ago and I still don't like them today...because I don't like things saying something unless they are...don't say "type-r" unless it's a type-r...etc...that's my 2 cents :2cents:..I'd have less of an issue if they didn't actually say "type-r" on them like the almost always do, lol. Remember though, they are type-r style, not real type-r mats...there was never type-r 92-95 civic. Also, I don't know how exact they fit compared to OEM ones, since most of the time these mats as producted to fit all civics and Integras. They should fit better than $25 crap from Pep Boys though...and will offer more protection and more of a finished look than no mats will. If moneys an issue and you don't like ebay, I don't know how much shops charge for those now, but back in the day they charged like $40 for them, so if they charge more for those now it's just everyone taking advantage of the craze...I suppose thats why the ebay price didn't blow me away...it's not much more than they sold for back in the day everyone got into it.

The above may be cheaper than new retail priced OEM or ACC mats (unless you have wholesale or access to wholesale pricing to honda or acc)...though these both will be exact fit "OEM cut" mats if that matters...Me, I prefer the vast selection of mat/binding colors @ acc (though I admitt getting wholesale does help, LOL)...if you want it to fit perfect and have a specifc color skeem you want/need that is different than the commen OEM ones or type-r rip off ones....(say blue with white binding), then an aftermarket custom carpeting/floor mats manufacturer like ACC will be the best bet.
