I am addressing everyone except McLaren240!--I care so deeply about his opinion that I get all choked up and emotional if I have to read his posts. :D

Anyways, why is a partial picture of a car in a window so important? I mean, I know you are all McLaren F1 fans. I am one too. But I try to have some minimum standards. There's glare and reflection, the subject of interest is obscured, and the picture is not even well taken. And the girl (at least, I think it's a girl) ain't anything special to look at. And I have seen hundreds of good pictures of this car in this setting already.

Would you all get excited at a picture of a washer if someone told you it came from a McLaren?

Interestingly, the shadow from the side mirror makes it look like there's a recess that the mirror can be folded into.

Nope, nothing terribly exciting about that particular photo, but I like them all. I do like the stark contrast in the photo, but would prefer it without the female subject to be honest.

I'm sure I could bore you to death with my collection of F1 photos. The folder they're in contains nearly 18,000 files now - of course not all are images, but most are and many of them are just as exciting as this one. :cwm27:

Thanks for the candid (and sensible) response.

Hey you never answered my earlier question...how do you post pictures? You have to host them somewhere and then link to them, right? If so, where do you put up your pics?

I wish I would have seen this thread sooner because Carleigh (the girl in that picture) spent the night here last night. The other pictures from that set aren't anything you haven't seen before so there's little point in sharing.

Who cares about the girl? (with all due respect to her)

Wow, a real life girl on a car forum! Lets all drool over her and give her gobs of attention!

Seriously now, it's still a nice picture of the car.

We could make funny and sarcastic remarks about eachother! HAHA!How I look isn't the issue. I'm making fun of the fact that whenever men discover a female actually visited a predominantly male forum, they go nuts over her. That's all...

As for you F1 Monster, it's not everday you get to see a F1 in a showroom under interesting lighting. I don't know what message you're trying to send with your post that only consists of two emoticons, so I won't go any further.

I don't add anything? Hahahahaha. You're right, when it comes to "me too me too, I love McLarens oh God someone's crashed one, how am I going to live, oh look another pic, quick are there are any more" type of comments, I don't add anything. The drooling and asinine comments get old real quick for anyone who's over 12.

You're wrong. This McLaren in this setting has been photographed a gazillion times.

You call this lighting interesting?
You think this photograph is well-composed?
:screwy:
All it is is a throwaway holiday snap. But if you find meaning in it, by all means, keep staring at it.

I hate locking threads, but it seems we've had just about enough discussion on this particular photo. :banghead:
