Superchips Tunner vs Hypertech Programmer

I have 2001 chevy tahoe and I have installed a K&N FIPK and a Magna flow muffler. I thinking about buying a Superchips Tuner or the Hypertech Programmer III for my truck. Does anyone have any information about which is better or worse. i have the k&n gen 2 with a superchips power programer and i noticed a big diffrence in power i love it but i don't have much info on the hypertech

What do you have your settings at? Shift firmness and all that? I just got a Superchips Tuner in the mail and haven't hooked it up yet but am looking for peoples opinions on the setup...

I used the hypertech on my '99 Tahoe. Just remember that you'll be forced to use a higher grade of gasoline if you go high perf route. I think it advances the timing cuz I got some valve clatter as soon as I tried it out. After re-reading the instructions I found that I was supposed to fill the tank with premium before using the programmer. I switched to premium and the clatter went away.
