Can anyone tell me how I remove the gauge cover from my 2004 Silverado 2500> I just bought a gauge bezel om Ebat that will frame my gauges, but I don't know how to pull off the cover from the gauges to apply it. Do they just pull off? I can't find any obvious screw holding it. Thanks.

put your truck into 1st with only the key being in the on position...but dont start the truck!....put the parking brake on too..then you can pop the front part of the dash off. i usually to to the corners and pry it with my fingers and it pops off. then there will be i think 4 screws and it all comes apart from there....i just want to let you know that the black part that is around the gauges right now is part of the glass that comes off with the screws.....you have to cut that out in order for you do see your bezel. or you can cut the glass and glue it back in but i just cut the old bezel out. thats how mine was anyway...

You lost me on the cutting thing. So I pull the front part off, and then I get to 4 screws. Is there any way that you can clarify the process beyond this point? I am trying to put this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7956902726&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT) on. Would this still require cutting, and where? Thanks for any help.

sure. i knew you were gonna ask that lol...it even sounded confusing to me...

once you take off the 4 screws you will know what im talking about. it is like a box...the glass is in front, the 4 plastic sides and then on the back is the OEM bezel. it is black and it it all one molded piece to the glass. what you can do is either cut out the glass and put it back in when you put your bezel on top of the OEM bezel and then glue the glass back on..(i dont recomment cutting the glass)....or you can do what i did and just cut out the OEM black bezel from the molded piece. like i said. once you take off the 4 screws and pull that piece out..you will know what im talking about.
