And the Ferio came with a B16a. It's basically like how our hatchbacks are different from the EG6.

so a ferio is a japenese eg9 with a dohc engine? or is the ferio the same as an eg9? or is my 4 dr a ferio when i put ferio stickers on it? :")

the eg9 is the ferio. no it will not make your car a ferio by putting stickers on it, that will just make you look "trendy".

jdm is a fad and is stupid. build your car to your choice not what is a fad.

i know i was kidding about the stickers....i like the "jdm" look because i like to buy things for my car that i believe should have been put on in the factory....nice amber vision corner lights, side markers, a bigger intake tube and cooloer looking emblems than a cursive civic in the back and two cheap honda symbols, also the interior is made much nicer...i dont want to be japenese just different from other american and canadien civics, given than honda is japenese....

I gotcha. I do love how the rear interior is. The color of the seats is ugly IMO, but we should have gotten the compartments.

Ferios never came with B-Series motors...only Japanese Civic hb's (SiR-II) and CRX SiR's had factory B16's...and IMO the JDM fad is kind of stupid but I guess thats because I see RHD cars everyday and kinda take em for granted...

Straight from Honda's web site... http://www.honda.co.jp/news/1995/4950904.html
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and look for the chart thing. There's the 3-door {(3ƒhƒA} and the 4-door {(4ƒhƒA)}. It's the Si II and Si models that both came with the b16a in the 4-door model.

Four Door civics also came with 4WD powered with either the SOHC ZC or DOHC ZC in certain parts of the world. Chassis code is EH1 and the trim level is RTX (SOHC) and RT Si (DOHC). There are so many variations that are out there, it's just crazy how many weren't available in the US.
