Hopefully one of you has seen this before and can give me a hand here. I just got a 94 accord EX. I left work this evening and drove home without incident. Later tonight I went to start my car and got nothing. All the lights come on, everything works except when I turn the key you can hear it draw power but nothing happens. No clicks from the starter, no turns no nothing. It's not a dead battery...I'm lost. Any help would be great. Also, my Speedometer works intermittantly, it'll be fine and then fall to 0, then back to where ever. What should I check to fix this?

Could be loosely related. Check you battery connections, any primary wiring at the battery and the ground for damage or corrosion.

Gear shifter position switch needs to indicate P or N for the starter to operate. If manual, clutch has to be in or maybe bad clutch switch. Check as applicable and get back to us.

Thanks for the reply. It turns out it was a small amount of corrosion in the neg battery terminal that was causing to not turn over. I've been told that first thing on a cars electrical system is to check all the redundant grounds. I guess I got lucky! Thanks again.
