Lower support arm bushings (I think that's what they're called). Look under the front end and you'll see the support arms. Where they connect to the frame toward the center of the car there's a pin that allows ths arm to pivot up and down as the front struts, connected to the other end, move up and down. Around that pin are bushings that wear out and can cause the "sway" symptom you mention.

With the car in Park if it's an automatic, or 1st if it a standard, with the parking brake off, look underneath as the car is rocked forward, then back. You'll see the support arms moving forward and back if the bushing are bad. There should be NO movement forward and back, just up and down movement.

Had that happen in my '90 Camry at about 175,000 miles.

How many miles on your '93?
