knocking sound on a 95 gsx

Sometimes not alwayz theres a little knocking sound that I here when Im in 1,2,3 gear but when the sound comes it doesnt take a long time and it goes away. Anybody have any idea if thats normal cuz theres sum guy that has a 96gst and he says thats normal that sometimes you can hear that in his car.
