Tacoma is Now the Best Selling Small Pickup in the USFrankGiovinazzi 03-04-2005, 12:13 PM Hey all, I did the sales numbers for a few articles at my main job and came up with this: http://www.carbuyersnotebook.com/archives/2005/03/its_official_to.htm Flash75 03-04-2005, 05:41 PM I couldn't help but notice Tacoma sales are down from last year, the Colorado, Canyon and Frontier sales are up from last year. The Tacoma may not be on top in a few months. The only real gainer in absolute sales is the Frontier, and those gains are indeed impressive. I haven't done all the math but I'm pretty sure the segment itself is down as a whole, and this has been pointed out by others who've written about the big truck stealing from the little truck phenom. FG wrigley123 03-05-2005, 08:08 AM The Frontier is a sharp truck! Mike kcrisp 03-15-2005, 12:32 PM I currently have a 99 taco 4X4 ext. cab w/ over 109k on her. In about a year I will be looking to get a new small truck. I love my Taco as it has given me no problems what so ever couldnt ask for a better little truck. My daughter turns 15 in a month and I plan on handing down this one and getting either another Tacoma (new one) or new Frontier and it has to be a 4x4. I also have a 04 Titan and having the little bro in the driveway would be cool but since my taco was so reliable Im not sure which way Im gonna go at this time but it will be one of the 2. I did look at the Frontys when I was having the Titan in for service and I liked them so much more the the previous years. I havnt went to the Toyota dealsership yet, but I have seen a few of the 05 Tacomas on the road and I like the looks. Any 05" taco owners have any complaints and or compliments on their trucks? please share. Cheers Ken vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
