Anyone know how to get it out properly? I don't want to rip the dash all to hell and back. Thx

Wish I could offer you some good news, but the sad truth is you have to remove part of the dash. Fairly easy to do, but the mounts are right behind the beauty panel that also frames your heater controls and instrument bezels. You should be able to get the whole thing off with nothing more than a #2 Phillips screwdriver though. Once you get that off, the rest is simple. Two small bolts and a wire harness.

Also, Pardon the gratuitous plug here, but I also have a thread going regarding a 1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4dr 4WD 4.0 Inline 6 I'm parting out, that if you need any parts I've got em, including that beauty panel should you happen to break yours. :p

Yep, read that earlier, although I not in need of anything yet.(Just had to replace CPS) Only bad thing so far that I notice about it is a broken spring in the driver side seat. Making it a very fun game of trying not to fall into the window when I drive.
