Intake on 91 Eclipse GS

I just recently purchased a short ram intake for my 91 Eclipse. I was wondering has anuone did this before and have you had any problems with the mass air flow sensor. I heard that there is some adapter you have to buy in order for it to work because if you just disconnect it the car idels funny. Is this true and if so does anyone know where I could find an adapter.

I don't know about the adapter but you can't just leave your MAS unplugged. You NEED it plugged in.

thier on ebay they say thier for turbo but you should be able to use it this is the item number

I have a 90 gs ,i had to buy a seperate K&N filter and connect it to the maf then connect the shortram

i always put MAS for MAF sorry, but i bought a short ram to put on my 91 eclipse gs and I have to relocate the battery and buy a new filter to hook up the MAF. its going to cost me another 100 bucks to put it all on becasue I need to buy a small battery almost like a motorcycle battery but you gotta do what you gotta do. keep the 90 gs not as many around as the 2gs.

will then injen intake work with the maf?

I think you have a different body style and I dont know if your engine bay is the same as mine but I have to mess around with mine alot.
