Timing Problems

Hi, everyone. I was just wondering if somebody could help me out with this issue. I have just had a timing belt and fuel pump replaced a week ago. My car was running fine until last weekend when a very high pitch squeal is coming out of my hood. I also lost some oil. In addition, the engine is becoming hard to start and takes longer than usual. Is there anything I can do, and does it sound like a major project. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

check ur alternator...the belt is probably loose ...hopefully its not the crankshaft like my miata...but i am not sure if the 626? has a b6 short nose crank ...you might wanna find out on miata.net about your car...hope u figure it out... no one helped me i found out the hard way ...i took my pulley off for a timing belt change and my nose fell off in pieces...research before u start pulling stuff off...
