One of your moderators on this forum is an old acquaintance from another forum. He had indicated to us in the past that he didn't mind us dropping in and doing this every once in a while. Additionally, the product does offer: better visibility, better aesthetics, and the option to simply upgrade to newer lights. Yes, we do sell this product. I'd be happy to help regulars - as we do all the time when people email us for advice:) Antiburn 03-02-2005, 05:05 PM There is a post on the top of every section in here that says "This is not a sales forum" Even if you do know people here that doesnt exclude from following the rules posted. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=299960 jeffreyb4me 03-05-2005, 10:21 AM Hi there all, I've been a little busy lately finishing a current house and building a new one to be on the Forum much.......zero free time, should be returning in a couple of weeks again. A friend gave me a heads-up about this posting though, so I took a peak and felt the urge to respond as I'd hate to the Forum "going to the dogs" in my absence. Let's see here, "Until then, shove it." and "at the top of every section in here that says..." 'Scuse me but the "top of every section" I see this morning advertises "LO/JACK" and the bottom has eight, COUNT THEM, eight "Related Links", all advertising lighting but more often something completely unrelated to cars or BMW's that some low budget algorithum recognized as logical. In short the forum is full of paid sales items so the "situational ethics" you guys latched onto is, well just shows an embarrassing lack of character when delivered in such a punitive way. I found the post quite informative, interesting and if it improves the appearence of my BMW's I'll persue them as I enjoy saving money and allowing my cars to appear as one of the 'muddled masses'. In closing I request "flunky" and "antiburn" find something better to do with there time then acting as the "FORUM POLICE" [more akin to rental cops] and let The Moderators handle any violation of our rather liberal Forum Rules. Best to all and hope to return in more usual frequency soon....................jeffb. Antiburn 03-05-2005, 09:22 PM The rules were posted for a reason, rules are rules and everyone should follow them. This is not a sales forum clearly states that nothing is to be sold on this forum. And I am not trying to be a "forum nazi" as you so blaintly put it, I am trying to keep the rules going as they should be I put that in a nce way, then you have to interject and act like your some learder for this forum. You can go take a razor and shove it up your tight little ass. jeffreyb4me 03-05-2005, 09:53 PM Thanks for the advise, I don't believe you actually read what I wrote, but won't bother with a responce other than this. My basic philosophy in life is Enjoy as much as you can while your here and do no harm.................... Love, jeff b. I am glad to see you back here at the BMW forum, even if it's only for today. Jeff: We BMW Owners are looking forward on your return back here at the BMW World forum! I am afraid that The BMW World forum has suffered since you have been away, and during that time there seems to be too many kids with too much time on their hands, playing their childish games with new members, etc! I cannot speak for everyone here, but I do know, that some other BMW Owners and myself that miss reading your BMW expert answers to our many BMW questions. By the way, I agree with you 150% on the antics of the 4-door and the Antiburn playing "Rent A Cops" or "Police" (want-a-be's), here at the BMW forum, especially while you been away! I came here to the BMW World forum to get answers on my new e60 from good BMW Mechanics, Experts in the field, and not to be called down by some BMW Mechanic/expert "Want A be's" i.e. The 4 door with his vast knowledge on his Honda' Civic, or washing and checking the oil on his daddy's old BMW 535, or now I see: The Antiburn is joining up with The 4-door antics, which greatly disappoints me with the Antiburn. :screwy: Sincerely, Eddie Presley a/k/a Presley348 (Chump!! LOL) :smokin: jeffreyb4me 03-06-2005, 09:56 AM Thanks Eddie for your kind words, I wanted to try the razor trick but could only find saftey blades which didn't seem to 'fit' what 'Antiburn' had in mind. Again, thanks Eddie, hope to be back soon, Best to you & stay in touch......................jeff b. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
