My 99 S-10 has a long crank time. I thought it was the fuel pump but after replacing it the problem still exists. What other parts may leak down fuel pressure? Thanks.

The ignition system is distributor less. The wires i will change. They are old. The thing is, i am acutally connecting a fuel pressure gauge to the access port on the fuel rail. After a few hours the pressure drops considerably. Thanks.

im sorry, i was thinking of a totally differant thread when i replied to yours.
fuel pressure regulatorcould be going bad. have changed fuel filter? check and make sure no fuel leaks anywhere.
