Long Crank?Btluvs6 03-01-2005, 05:24 AM My 99 S-10 has a long crank time. I thought it was the fuel pump but after replacing it the problem still exists. What other parts may leak down fuel pressure? Thanks. jackass#1 03-01-2005, 05:30 AM filter, plugs cap, rotor, plug wires. ckeck battery, timing. Btluvs6 03-01-2005, 11:09 AM The ignition system is distributor less. The wires i will change. They are old. The thing is, i am acutally connecting a fuel pressure gauge to the access port on the fuel rail. After a few hours the pressure drops considerably. Thanks. jackass#1 03-01-2005, 04:57 PM im sorry, i was thinking of a totally differant thread when i replied to yours. fuel pressure regulatorcould be going bad. have changed fuel filter? check and make sure no fuel leaks anywhere. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
