doin that for me also i counter steer and give it enough gas seems like it catches and throws the car back around gonna take more work to drift this time.........

you can win some drift cars but ive havent tryed drifting w/ them. They seem to have a drift setup cause its no a good racing setup.

I've gotten the option z ,from pro races it comes 795hp stock.

Buy a GTO, build it to the gills, and you won't even have to try and you'll be able to spin the tires, going straight, going around a curve, lol, it doesn't matter!

Seriously, I don't even try to drift or anything like that, but if I did, then my GTO would be the perfect car I think. Its ridiculas, lol. Even with SS-racing tires, it will spin like crazy untill 3rd gear, lol (on or off the juice), and with just the Soft Sport tires, it will spin in every gear, lol (no matter what the speed-and don't even think about spraying, ever).

bah, i bet i could drive the gto down the 1/4 without excessive spin. i was able to get the 1800hp escudo down the 1/4 in gt3 without excessive wheelspin, i will have to try it a few more times... can't remember how close to 7s i was able to get

nah... my roommate built an 850hp supra to try out, and i could get that down to 10.5-.8 with almost no wheelspin. just need more practice with the launch

Yeap, and I can too, and run about 11.20.

My GTO has 775 hp plus a 50 shot of NO2. With no assists, my best time is 10.59, and I can consistantly hit 10.60-10.70s. My best time with assists (TCS) is 10.045 and I consistantly hit 10.0hs.

Just to give you an idea (and everybody else), with Soft Sport tires, doing around 120 mph in 5th gear, I can hit the nitrious and the tires will go up in smoke. It does the same thing in 6th gear unless its very close to redline. That's with a 3.46 gear ratio as well (and the auto individual gear ratios set to 11).

back on topic. you guys should try drifting with all the aids turned off. including ASM understeer. i used it at first to get used to drifting period, but doing it with ASM on is the equivalent to riding a bike with training wheels. i'm still working on it, but its not too hard, just have to find the right suspension settings and learn how to carry enough lateral momentum into the turns to get sideways...

my setups actaully i have oversteer turned off, everything else is at normal, even tcs and it works great for me

ASM understeer is what makes it easier to drift, but i'm assuming thats what you meant

gigglesnirt

no i have asm understeer on at 10, asm oversteer is turned off

XeVeNskyLiNE

oh well, thats what i meant, ASM understeer helps you out ALOT. try driftin with it off, you'll really learn how important weight distribution is then
