Double Platinum or Iridium Sparkplugs?Tespin 02-27-2005, 08:29 PM Is it worth double the price to get the Denso Iridium plugs or are the Double Platinum the way to go? The only advantage to the platinums is that they resist gap wear and deposit build-up much longer. There is a very thin coating of platinum on the center electrode, so be careful gaping them or you could scrape it right off with the feeler gauge, thus making them useless. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
