Making of Lamborghini Gallardokunta 02-27-2005, 09:43 AM Hi, Started Fujimi's Gallardo from this weekend. basically body mold is fine, engine bay looks just same as Murcie. front/rear meshes are clear parts, also like Murcie. interior and wheels looks fine. but I'll put 5 spoke 19" wheel on it. Filled front license plate holes and fixed few thined plastic areas. refined some body shapes and added panel lines. http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/02.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/03.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/04.jpg Painted body Finisher's Pure Black. http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/11.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/12.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/13.jpg refined seats. http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/05.jpg Painted interior blue/dark blue/flat black. used Sakatsu's shifter parts. http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/06.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/10.jpg Thanks for looking! bigfrit 02-27-2005, 10:04 AM I hate you! It will be painted to match this car, using the testors automotive line: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v737/blubaja/galardored.jpg Sorry for hijacking your thread kunta:-/ Frank X. That's the color I'm going to paint mine as well, Rosso Metis. If you're using Testors, Honduras Maroon is a nearly identical match...if it matches an original color chip that I have....since I'm going to paint a GM car that should be Honduras Maroon in Rosso Metis (hey, you can paint three cars w/one bottle of Cobra Colors!). blubaja 03-08-2005, 06:43 PM Hey, Yeah ZoomZoom. That's the color I'll be using. C'mon Kunta! I'm itching to see how it's going together! lol. I bet it's great. Frank X. ZoomZoomMX-5 03-26-2005, 07:44 AM ^ maybe the owner does a lot of handbrakies? does this kit have a driveshaft for the front wheels?, i see one for the back, but not the front, and as far as i know Gallardo's are 4WD. Yes, there is a front driveshaft in the kit-I was working on my Gallardo's suspension last night. TireGaint 03-26-2005, 10:39 AM Update pics. Assembled chassis, suspensions and engine bay. painted intake manifold and calipers blue which is same color with interior. http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/14.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/15.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/16.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/17.jpg Hey Kunta, EMERGENCY.....wrong rear brake kit on wrong side. :D Thanks for the update. kunta 03-26-2005, 07:26 PM Hey Kunta, EMERGENCY.....wrong rear brake kit on wrong side. :D Thanks for the update. Oh, no. :banghead: thanks! I'll fix it. Why I make such a silly mistake sometime... :newburn: Vric 03-26-2005, 07:56 PM are those Stock brakes ? seem to be too good for Fujimi ZoomZoomMX-5 03-26-2005, 09:14 PM are those Stock brakes ? seem to be too good for Fujimi Yes, they're stock and very nice. I painted my calipers yellow w/black Lamborghini emblems. (I'm not posting progress, I'll take pics when it's done, except for custom rims it's very similar to Kunta's except for colors). It's a better kit than most other Fujimis, everything on the chassis/interior has seemingly fit perfect. One reason the wheels seem to fit precisely is the suspension is simplified, I didn't realize until after it was all together that there are no springs or shocks to deal with, only the upper/lower A arms, hubs, brakes, and rims. The axles are part of the lower engine piece which is well engraved. The Mini Cooper S is also much better than standard Fujimi fare. Maybe they're listening? :icon16: kunta 03-27-2005, 09:32 AM Fixed direction of rear caliper. wheel is Luxy type-4 19". painted spokes black. polishing body now. http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/18.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Gallardo/19.jpg mike united 03-27-2005, 09:37 AM Looks fantastic & that blue is just awesome together with the black. Superb stuff, Mike :sunglasse TireGaint 03-27-2005, 09:56 AM Definietly a pimp ride. :D Vric 03-27-2005, 10:21 AM look really great. Black is so hard to work. Kunta quality :D ZoomZoomMX-5 03-27-2005, 11:20 AM I love it, the wheels and the color scheme are killer! Blue makes a great interior accent color and is a refreshing change from the typical tan or red interiors. I just can't believe so many 1:1 Gallardos have all-black interiors...the colors you can get are so nice, the black is just boring :screwy: . MidMazar 03-27-2005, 11:34 AM wow definetly turing out nice, wheels lok hot and fit it perfectly tonioseven 03-27-2005, 01:23 PM Beautiful!!!:sunglasse I need to buy this kit!! ImolaEK 03-27-2005, 01:31 PM Wow! Those wheels look soo nice on that car;) Awesome job! Alvindj 03-27-2005, 01:33 PM WOAH LOVE DA RIMS ! LOVE THE BLACK that it went so well with de Gallardo ! Oli BlueHand 03-28-2005, 09:35 AM super good!! the paint is flawless and the wheels just go so well with it. Im never tired of seeing so many well built kits from yourself. Keep them coming... :-) godfather23 03-28-2005, 09:41 AM Did you have to make adjustments to height of the ride? Besides the question: Mmmmhh, lovely car! kunta 03-28-2005, 10:07 AM Thanks for the comments! Did you have to make adjustments to height of the ride? Besides the question: Mmmmhh, lovely car! No, I did nothing about the height, just put 19" wheels on it. RallyRaider 03-28-2005, 09:24 PM Great stuff Osamu, the colour combo is very unusual, but striking! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
