I can only drive when in 4wd mode. If able to engage 2wd...eventually slips out and must use 4wd-H. When in 4wd and at steady speed at any speed clunking noise and jerk occurs. I have already replaced the 1st/2nd speed elec. solenoid that sits at rear of differential that is vissible after pan is lowered, but no change in symptoms. I ohmed out all 3 and chose to replace this particullar one instead of the other 2 because of its .9 - .8 reading. The other 2 gave 4.1 - 4.0 readings. All 3 conectors were removed and all 3 solenoids were ohmed out in both directions. From here I am Lost...NEED HELP!!!! :banghead:

What does the Transfer case look like? I'm wondering if the linkages for the mode selector aren't loose somewhere, allowing it to slide back. . . just my 2 bits
