Hey guys, im looking at sticking a 455 olds into my firebird, right now my firebird has an early seventies 350 rocket out of a 442 in it, this 455 is out of a 76 delta 88 four door. My car has a th350 tranny in it and i was wondering if to put in this 455 i will have to change mounts and do any tranmny work, and also will there be any other problems i might encounter? thanks!

Your tranny should fit/mount right on, as Buick Oldsmobile and Pontiac share the same bolt pattern. You will need different engine mounts, and I assume if you keep the Th350 it will not last long behind a 455.
They used TH 400's behind the bigger engines...
