me and my friends are goin to swap out a 2.2 turbo engine from an old new yorker into a 87 omni, and we were wondering if we could just swap out the turbo engine internals so we could just turbo the omni without a complete engine swap....we are realatively new with swaping engines we have only done one other swap a klze into a mazda mx3 we just want some info if ya got anything u think we will need please let me know

It would be easier to swap in the complete turbo engine vs swapping the internals from the turbo engine.
