Xenon kit?korndogg 02-26-2005, 09:16 PM I was wondering if anyone sold a xenon kit with the headlights, daytime lights, and foglights all included in one package? spackelman 02-26-2005, 10:25 PM Don't know about the light kit, but I luv your camaro 67?? 1/4 mile time?? Nice..................... korndogg 02-26-2005, 10:27 PM 68 actually. never raced it in the quarter..ive had it for about a year and a half now and i could race it but personally i dont think its ready for the track yet. spackelman 02-26-2005, 10:43 PM the car looks sweet. what motor?? 350 327 302 ?? factory or drop in?? post some specifics I know this is not a camaro forum, but..... korndogg 02-26-2005, 10:47 PM thanks....uhmmmm....original 327 with 82,000 on it. swapped out the powerglide for a 700r4 out of an 88 Iroc last year. 3.42 gears..... spackelman 02-26-2005, 11:07 PM Always been a big fan of the pre 70's camaro's. Is the car tight - or the typical front end wash. Any plans for mods?? Great show piece. The color, for whatever reason fits. The wheels, hood, blah blah blah, again sweet. Interior looks ok too. Put some TLC into your 68, (I should have known, 67 still had the wing windows). This car has the need for speed. korndogg 02-26-2005, 11:10 PM the interior is mint actually....exterior has VERY minor rust around the driver's front fender.and what do you mean by front end wash?? i have plenty of ideas for mods but that costs money which i dont have at the moment. (im only 19 and trying to move out) spackelman 02-26-2005, 11:33 PM Camaro's front end never kept up with the rear end. It was designed with handling in mind, but that design never really hit the factory. Under power and hard steering, the car did not do well. Keep the front end in shape - shocks, add a sway bar, change bushings, ball joints, check tire pressure, springs etc. If all is good now, just keep it that way. korndogg 02-26-2005, 11:36 PM oh...yeah..thats what i do for a living now until i get out of college anyway...i do all that stuff.. spackelman 02-26-2005, 11:58 PM Dude-- You have nice car and you seem like a nice guy. Save the attitude for something that means something. korndogg 02-27-2005, 12:12 AM attitude??? korndogg 02-27-2005, 12:23 AM k well anyway back on topic... i found these. too expensive??? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7959333655&category=36476&sspagename=WDVW and the other thing is that, those will cover my headlights and my daytime lights but not my foglights all the way on the bottom.....does anyone know what bulbs those are by chance?? otherwise ill just have to take them out and look at em. korndogg 03-06-2005, 01:24 PM i dont mean to bring this thread back up....its not too old but yea :) ....this thread kinda went to hell. does anyone have any ideas on my above question??? im still curious about it. jethro_3 03-06-2005, 03:20 PM Most of the aftermarket headlight manufacturers are now saying that you can not put Xenon in their headlights. Something to do with the DOT stating No Xenon except show and off road unless installed by the manufacturer. korndogg 03-08-2005, 01:51 AM ok i found this. i think im going to go for it. just hope im not getting ripped off here... :/ http://www.marketworks.com/store/itemDetail.asp?sfid=42200&id=11717431 jethro_3 03-08-2005, 02:52 AM The 5000K is the brightest lumens, as you get farther up, 7000K, you are getting less lumens. If you use the lens made for the Halogen you will give more glare and not effectively use the availible light. I assume you found this in your research. chuck16 03-08-2005, 11:07 AM Same Xenon's Cheaper here. http://www.xenonlightshid.com/index.asp Just have to find out if they ship to Canada? :D korndogg 03-08-2005, 01:03 PM Same Xenon's Cheaper here. http://www.xenonlightshid.com/index.asp Just have to find out if they ship to Canada? :D just to let you know...thats the same site i ordered from....it just switches to the link that i posted after you pick what bulbs you want.... AMS MIKE 03-08-2005, 06:22 PM I sell those Xenon style halogen bulbs.
