Well i barely post on this forum but i'd thought i'd share with u guys on this one. My friend with the dx hatchie wanted to race me so bad. This happend awhile ago when my car actually worked but it wasn't great though. Anyways i say fine i'll race him. This is his mods...dc sports header, dc sports short shifter, skunk2's coils and AGX adj. shocks and cold air intake. My car is basically stock(look at my signature). Some of my friends doubted that i was gonna lose. My reverse don't work (not that i needed it in a race)and my 2nd,3rd, and 5th gear grinds ...basically i beat the shit out of it LOL! Well it was time to race and he took me off the line for a measely 2 seconds and then...BAM!! OOhh shit when i hit that second gear even when it grinded a lil i took him so bad that i just didn't even bother switchin to 3rd.:)

I raced a 5th gen Civic hatch with B16+bolt-on's+slicks and beat him pretty bad last night at the track, i'm not 100% sure how I beat him off the line considering he had slicks, ACT clucth and an LSD. I raced a non-turbo eclipse and waxed his ass pretty bad, then I raced his dad in a '90 Camaro 305 and beat him too. My 60' times are consistant 2.2's on street tires, occasional 2.1's.

Hey thats not bad at all man? I guess the guy with the b16 is not that good of driver ? Those N/A eclipse are slow as hell. 2 of my friends have them and i just killed them like they were nothing.:)

So did you have the B16 when you raced him? Even if you had the D16A6 you should've smoked him pretty bad because the DX's are pretty slow even with mods.:p

No i didn't have the b16 at the time. It's just a stock crx si. I have the b16 rite now but its not installed yet. Hopefully next week i can finally begin or if the stupid Chicago weather doesn't snow on us again:(
