You know when you get in some cars the dome light fades out instead of just turning off. How do they do this?

My car has that feature, it came like that from the factory, so i dunno if there is anything you can buy to get it to do that.

not sure. It might be a realy that slowly turns down the power so it goes dark slowly.

Hehehe:D But seriously, I know they use a relay and some circuit that lowers voltage to the lamp progressively... but anybody know of a wiring diagram or aftermarket part?

You guys realize that all that is a cheap relay and a 2 small capacitors in parallel. Its not a tough thing to put in your car I did it to the single done light in my Geo for like $8, I also had it hooked up to my dash dimmer so I could over ride it if I had to.
