Just got home from the track.

Got 16.2 my best time.

Remember its not SE so it doesnt have LSD i just converted it to SE model with SE wheels and all that stuff.

my 60 foot best was 2.3

not sure how good or bad that is, never been to the track before

85.7mph was my top speed

with best reaction time of .113

not bad for a noobie i say :)

but the way i see it is, an SE with LSD runs 16.5 , i dont have LSD but i have some mods and i got 16.2 so i was thinking if i get LSD i can possibly get to 15.5 once i get the take off down. because i couldnt launch higher than 2,000k before it would keep spinning my right tire. with LSd im sure ill be able to launch at higher RPMs without any probs, and beat my time for sure.

sounds like a plan...if your running a 15's time with a baically stock car...your actually doing pretty good...all you have is an exhaust system right? well anywho...yea the lsd with def help your time alot...good job...thanks for posting your time :d

yea basically stock and pretty good for no LSD, your 60 would benefit the most from an LSD

Not bad. I'd say pretty good reaction times for a first timer. 60' is pretty good too.

My best was a 15.8 with K&N cone filter, header, exhaust, and toyo FZ-4 205s. What RPM were you shifting at?

you got 15.8 with your 92 SE wich is LSD right?

and i launched at about 1500-2000 rpms redlined first shifted, redlined seconds shifted and passed the line on my 3rd gear hitting redline as well

I think in higher gears it's better to shift a litle after 5500 cause that's where the power starts to drop off, but I could be wrong.

yeah you should short shift the ka as soon as you feel the car stop pulling. i can still feel it stop pulling even with the turbo on making power straight to redline. the power hit hard, then it tapers off slow, so i usually just short shift it.

Nope. I'm open differential. I also shift by feel. And I launched at 2500. Try slipping the clutch a little and pedal if you lose traction.

Not all SEs come with open differential. It was all LEs because of HICAS.

so redline first gear and then probably shift my second at about 5500 or so and my 3rd at 5500?

Something like that, you can probably go to 6000 in 2nd or even redline, but I'm not sure, I'm going by what I do in my dad's Altima. Go by feel, you'll see.

Do 92 SE coupes come with LSD?

I'm also wondering if my 93' SE has LSD. How can I find out?

Well, first off, you can not post in a 3 month old thread, second, do a burnout, if you have one tire mark, you don't have LSD, if you have 2 tires marks, you have LSD and if you have 3 or more tire marks, you're doing to much LSD.

The orange sticker is on the pumpkin. Might be covered in crap from the years.

well shit. i have a base model coupe, No power anything. I did a burnout and had 2 tire marks. But i dont have an lsd. Did it twice just to make sure. Each time i had one tire mark longer than the other. I know i dont have lsd cuz when i chirp second my car goes a lil sideways due to one tire spinning.

Well, I mostly said that as a joke to get my little LSD thing in there.
