I'm starting to feel a slight tug in the transmission when I accelerate and it tries to shift gears. What could be causing this? I haven't had any check engine lights pop up (although generally those are exhaust related).

Is this going to cost me an arm and a leg to take care of? Hopefully I won't have to put in a whole new tranny. The car barely went over the 100,000 mark last month and I just changed the transmission fluid when I did my last oil change. The tranny fluid was nice and reddish and did not smell burned at all.

I had a problem with my 97 Suburban not wanting to shift out of first gear sometimes and that turned out to be a transmission sensor that only costs $60 to replace. I hope the solution to this is around that price range.

EDIT: Anyone?
