I just bought an 02 LXI, it's an awesome car! I'm hooked.

The car has Goodyear Eagle 215-50-17's on it right now, they're just about done. The main problems are a broken belt in one tire, a slow leak in another, and a general overall rough ride. The compound on the Goodyear tires seems to be great upto about 25,000 miles ( which the car has now)....the more they wear down, the noisyier they seem to get.

My question...what's a good brand of tire to get for everyday driving
(summer+winter). My biggest factor is noise! I want a quiet tire that'll last. Anyone have any luck with what they're currently running on? Thanks for any info.

i recently got winter tires, due to 1) the winter and 2) the baldness of my summer tires. i 'm on Dean Wintercat XT 205/60r16 tires.

as for what i'm going to do this summer.... maybe i can get some help from this thread ;)
