ecu code 4

i have a b16 in my crx and i cant rev it passed 3... it is like the rev limiter is set at that point... i used a different ecu but the same thing happens.... my ecu flashes 4 times .... i was told it was the crank angle sensor code.... how hard is it to fix.... has anyone had this happen to them???

Crank angle sensor is in the distributor, and I believe it will stop you from reving past 3k too. Might want to try a different distributor and see if that fixes it.

yeah its in the dizzy, you might have to replace it all together.
