moderators, please note: this is a Sentra-specific Q, *please* don't move it to car buying forum or car comparisons! they got jack on this subject!!

so, everyone, i have finally narrowed down my search. any advice would be appreciated! : )

specifially, any advice regarding the good and the bad about 1998, 1999, and 2000 Sentra SEs?

i have decided on getting one of these years, since they all have the 2.0 and are recent enough to be in better shape than my poor ol' '92 se-r.

the '98 & 99 are lighter. the 2000 has a few more horses but not enough to make up for the weight difference. is the 2000 that much easier to modify for performance and handling that i should get one even though it is 400 pounds heavier?

and i must admit i don't like the big spoiler...

is the seating height different? (low is good in my book)

i don't care about roominess. i almost never have more than one passenger, and my wife and i agreed that we won't have kids.

and these cars are all post '97, so they are all side-impact safe.

any other factors i'm forgetting?

rust won't be an issue, since i'll be buying one down south.

thanks in advance for any useful opinions & info!

(and a moment of silence: HST died yesterday)
