Well as most of you know i'm planning to do an engine swap, i have not started my project yet, nor have i took out my stock engine yet, but what does everyone think a good price would be for this engine? 1g? 1,500? Not really sure what price to sell it at... Also anyone know anybody that would want an sr20de??

I wouldn't buy it, just because a DET can be found for the same price.
This doesn't mean shit though, because I garuntee there are hella people that will easily pay that sum. It won't be hard to sell....

Well it wouldn't be that easy in my opinion....first of all its the latest version of the SR family...OBD-II and other little sensors are added...plus the harness is alittle different because of that....and also the motor will not work with a 2000+ G20 ECU and the only other car with almost identical motor would have to be a 98+ Sentra/200SX....but other than that? Its a fairly common motor...I mean SR20s have been around since 1991 is it? Anyways you can find a buyer but I would have to say most definitely under $1000 no matter if its 40K miles and a 1999...

I don't see why anybody would pay close to a grand for that motor. I got my primera motor for $590 shipped. Granted i don't know the mileage, but as long as the motor is strong and clean i can really give a shit. I think $1000 is way off base but thats just my opinion. Correct me if i'm wrong....just my two cents
