photoshopping helpstang351 02-20-2005, 07:25 PM I've got a trial edition of PS CS, and im trying to do a color change, every tutorial i read shows how the lasso tool cuts out perfect regions in a picture, liike a wheel or a windsheild, is there anyway better than freehanding it on there? im probably just making it harder than it seems stang351 02-20-2005, 08:28 PM nevermind my stupidity got the best of me practice makes perfect, but any suggestions on how to "clean lasso" are welcome... victimizati0n 02-20-2005, 09:08 PM it takes ALOT of time. You have to go really slow when using it. If the car is a uniform color throughout, you can always use the magic select tool and change the color that way hks_kansei 02-21-2005, 12:37 AM two words, polygonal lasso i use this, it's easier than free handing, i roughly select the area i want (making sure there is a little excess), then change colour, then use the eraser to get a nice clean edge. Legionofone 02-21-2005, 01:17 AM i use the magnet lasso and rough outline and then go back in masking mode and clean up and fix the holes and stuff... normaly looks good... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
