can u turbo a S2000



on any car wouldnt a turbo increase gas milage, higher pressue better combustion for your gas

I know you dont turbo your car for gas milage but wouldnt it help?

yes you can turbo a s2000.

no a turbo doesnt increase your gas mileage because you have to dump in so much extra fuel when on boost. its kind of like accelerating fast, do you get better gas mileage or worst gas mileage. only thing boost will do is make you accelerate faster. and its hard to lay off hte gas on boost

you will see your gas milleage go down some when you drive hard but it will stay pretty much the same on normal driving.
And as far as boosting a S2000, it can be done but not too much boost unless you lower the CR.

to answer your questions a little more thoroughly, just about any engine can be turbocharged you just have to have the $. civckiller was right a tubo will not help gas mileage. atmospheric pressure at sea level is one bar or about 14.7psi when you add a turbo it compresses the air(raising it above 14.7) so it adds more oxygen molecules. now that there is more oxygen molecules available for combustion you also need more fuel which will then decrease your gas mileage.
