2003 cavalier retractable antenna mast

Anywhere i can find a retractable antenna mast [only] that will thread onto my exisitng antenna base

not sure if it will fit right in or not/ but try pep boys/ advance auto/ autozone.. somthing like that

not likely! It requires a motor etc you have to get a complete unit and then install this using the whole where the whole stock unit bolts in, but it will probably have to be enlarged!

why a motor???......why can't i just get a retracting mast that will screw onto the exsisting stock base and be able to manually push the mast down unto itself with probably only 6 inches at the base sticking up??

ive seen them but forgot where..... :)

Oh for some reason I was thinking motorised. Maybe! but what's wrong with the stocker?! If you leave a telescopic Atenna up while at the car wash by mistake it'll break!

thanks..... thats what im worried about, that black thin stationary mast waiting to be bent by some a-- h--e or the car car wash....

it just looks so vulnerable .......while parked.. :)

They are pretty resilliant. I go thru plenty of car washes and have no problem You hear it get tinged and then watched it flail around but no harm comes to it!
